It's 9:00 in the Valley, and the sky takes on it's now normal characteristics. We are not getting the great sunsets we were promised. But right at this time of night, the sky is a milky white. And almost as bright in the east as the west. I guess each little particle of smoke passes it's illumination on to the next, right across the sky. If you can ignore the fact that the air quality is listed as "dangerous", one could say magical.
